Raptor Drone Services is a small, family-owned business located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. We provide flight instruction, aerial imagery, and drone related services.
Chief Pilot Al Cire got his start flying drones for Virginia State Parks where he became their first FAA-certified Drone Pilot and then coordinator of the UAV program. He has worked for VA State Parks for over 35 years with a background in natural resource management, Wilderness Search & Rescue, law enforcement, and training.
Al launched the VA State Parks UAV program, employing drones on facility inspections, invasive species and wildlife surveys, controlled burn monitoring, and Search & Rescue missions. He assisted with advancing department policy, provided flight training, and has worked with other agencies to expand the park’s drone program.
Raptor Drone Services would like to bring the experience from flying hundreds of missions to assist you, whatever your ‘mission’ is.
